Upload your audio stems as WAV files and select an instrument category for each track. Automix analyses your audio using technology trained on professional mixing principles, then applies optimal settings for gain staging, panning, EQ, compression and reverb. Preview the mix, adjust levels if needed, then download your finished mix or continue to mastering.

AI mixing uses machine learning algorithms trained on professional audio engineering practices to automatically balance and process multitrack audio. Instead of manually adjusting dozens of settings across multiple tracks, AI mixing analyses the sonic characteristics of each stem and determines the best combination of levels, EQ, compression, panning and effects to create a cohesive mix.

On the free plan, Automix can mix up to 16 tracks at once. Automix Pro subscribers can mix up to 32 tracks. For larger projects, you can use subgroups to mix related tracks together, such as all drums or all vocals, then combine the subgroup stems into a final mix.

Yes. Automix Pro subscribers can export their projects as an Ableton Live Set, which opens directly in Ableton with all tracks and mix settings intact. Automix also supports DAWproject export for Bitwig Studio and PreSonus Studio One. This lets you use Automix as a starting point, then add your own creative touches in your preferred DAW.

Yes. After mixing, you can master your track directly in Automix. The mastering stage adjusts overall tone, loudness and stereo imaging to ensure your music sounds polished and consistent across all playback systems. Automix accepts both WAV and MP3 files for mastering. You can also use reference track mastering to match the sonic profile of a track you like the sound of and have the necessary rights to use, which is particularly useful for album mastering where you want a consistent sound across multiple songs.

Reference track mastering lets you upload a track you like the sound of and have the necessary rights to use as a sonic reference. Automix analyses the tonal balance, loudness and dynamics of your reference, then applies similar characteristics to your master. This is especially useful for album projects where you want all tracks to share a cohesive sound, or when you have a specific sonic target in mind.

Audio Cleanup is a feature for Automix Pro subscribers that improves recordings made in less than ideal conditions. It works particularly well on live recordings, reducing noise and enhancing clarity before mixing. If your stems have background noise, room reflections or other imperfections, Audio Cleanup can help you get better results from the mixing process.

Yes, absolutely. When you use Automix, ownership of your music remains unchanged. The compositions, recordings and final mixes are entirely yours. RoEx does not claim any rights to your audio and does not use your tracks for AI training, so your work and your rights stay fully protected.

Automix is designed for multitrack mixing. You upload individual stems and Automix creates a complete mix and master from scratch. Mix Check Studio is focused on analysing and enhancing finished stereo tracks. Use Automix when you have separate instrument recordings you need to mix together. Use Mix Check Studio when you already have a stereo mix and want feedback or enhancement through Mastering+.

Yes. If you have Suno stems (available on Premier plans), upload them to Automix for a professionally mixed and mastered result. If you only have the stereo file, you can upload it for standalone mastering. Either way, Automix optimises your track for loudness, tonal balance and streaming platform standards.

Upload your Suno stems to Automix, let Automix mix them, then export your project as an Ableton Live Set (.ALS file). When you open it in Ableton, your tracks appear as individual channels with all mixing decisions already applied, ready for you to add your own creative touches. Yes. Automix is designed to work with any audio source, including tracks from Suno, BandLab, and other music creation tools. The mixing engine handles the common issues found in generated audio, such as inconsistent levels, frequency clashes, and limited loudness, producing a balanced, release-ready result.

Suno's stem separation is imperfect. You'll often hear vocal bleed in the drum stem and instrumental artefacts in the vocal stem. Levels are inconsistent and nothing is spatially positioned. Automix is built to handle this: it analyses and balances your stems, applies appropriate EQ, compression, panning and spatial positioning, so you get a cohesive mix even from imperfect source material.

For mixing, Automix needs individual stems (separate instrument tracks) so it can process each one independently. For mastering, you can upload a single stereo bounce (WAV or MP3) and Automix will master it for streaming-ready loudness, tone and width.

Automix can handle stems with moderate bleed and imperfect isolation. For recordings with significant background noise or room reflections, Automix Pro includes Audio Cleanup, which reduces noise and enhances clarity on each stem before mixing. This works especially well on live recordings.

Automix accepts WAV and MP3 files for mixing, and WAV, MP3, AIFF and FLAC for mastering (via Automix Desktop). Standard sample rates of 44.1 kHz and 48 kHz are supported. We recommend uploading high-quality WAV files for the best results.

Automix targets loudness levels appropriate for modern streaming platforms, typically around -14 LUFS integrated for services like Spotify and Apple Music. The exact target varies based on genre conventions and the dynamic character of your track to preserve musicality.

After Automix processes your stems, you can adjust individual track levels before downloading. For full control, export your project to Ableton Live or as a DAWproject file (Pro feature), which gives you every track with all mix settings intact so you can tweak EQ, compression and effects in your own DAW.
